Technodrive: Brand Overview <

The Technodrive TM 1200 A marine transmission features a lightweight aluminum alloy casing and hydraulically actuated multi-disc clutches. The clutches and gears are designed to deliver full power at the same ratio in both forward and reverse. A 7 degree down-angle output shaft ensures proper engine and gearbox alignment for planing or semi-displacement hulls.

Torsional Responsibility

Disregarding propulsion system torsional compatibility could cause damage to components in the drive train resulting in loss of mobility. At minimum, system incompatibility could result in gear clatter at low speeds.

The responsibility for ensuring that the torsional compatibility of the propulsion system is satisfactory rests with the assembler of the drive and driven equipment.
